Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1980, Travis joined McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing) and began his career in aircraft structural design and then served in various management positions within engineering, operations, supply chain management, program management, information technology and strategy. Currently, Travis is an executive in functional engineering responsible for strategy, skill management and innovation. He has responsibility for the deployment of 10,000 skilled engineers across five geographic areas.
