Academy members may nominate new members or honorary members to the Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers by filling out the form below. Non-members of the academy may use it to recommend potential nominees. The bylaws describe appropriate candidates as being all of the following:

1. A graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Mechanics at MSM-UMR
2. A graduate of at least 20 years ago
3. A recognized leader worthy of emulation, and,
4. Someone who is interested in enhancing the reputation of the MAE Department

In addition, the bylaws allow for a limited number of honorary members.   Non-alumni may qualify for this designation if they fit all other criteria.
