Dick is a former Marine fighter pilot who developed his engineering, systems, sales, and marketing expertise with Uniroyal, Inc., Monsanto-Fisher Controls, Boffers-BLH Electronics and General Electric. He founded Michigan Instrumentation and Controls in 1986 to engineer control systems using Fisher Controls products. Dick’s comments on his employee teams are included in the current UMR School of Engineering booklet which lists all engineering majors and several career possibilities. Dick received his Professional Degree from UMR at winter commencement 2002.
