After graduating from UMR in 1968, Ralph joined the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors Corp. He became chief engineer, small pickup trucks, in 1990. After several other assignments he was appointed to the position of executive director of dimensional engineering from which he retired in 2002 after 33+ years of service.Ralph served as Chairman of the UMR Corporate Development Council, and as a member of the MAE Industrial Advisory Committee. In 1997 he was awarded a professional degree in mechanical engineering.While a student at MSM, Ralph became a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He received a Curators' Award and the Professor of Military Science Award.
