About Michael A. Haas

Michael graduated from UMR summa cum laude, and after joining McDonnell Aircraft Company in an R&D group, began working in alternative energy.  Michael then served in various executive capacities at Kenetech Corporation, before founding Orion Energy Group in 1999.  He also co-founded and serves as Managing Director of Renewable Development Company Ltd. in the United Kingdom.  In 2008, Michael founded Alliance for Climate Education, a non-profit group dedicated to educating high school students across the US on the science of global climate change, and inspiring them to take action.
