About Matthew Cordner

After graduation from UMR, Matthew began his career with Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, Texas as a member of the design/test team for the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor prototypes.  During his 30 years at Bell, Matthew held functional and leadership positions in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Flight Operations, Program Management and IT. His last business role was leading Xworx, Bell’s Product Development and Flight Research Center. Matthew then moved to Textron, Bell’s parent company, where he served for three years as Director of Enterprise Systems and Analytics. He now works at HCL Technologies where he provides consulting and program support for complex business transformation initiatives at large A&D companies. 

Matthew immigrated to the US from Australia at an early age and returns regularly to visit family. He lives in the Dallas area with his wife Christi, a 7th generation Texan. Christi operates Wade Design, a business providing both Graphic Design and Landscape Design services. They have three grown children and are blessed with two wonderful grandchildren. 

Christi and Matthew are frequent global travelers and are involved in supporting several charitable organizations including Family Legacy Missions International which provides them the privilege of ministering to the needs of orphaned children each year in Zambia.
