Lloyd’s career has been in the design and development of two-stroke cycle engine and electric powered lawn and garden products. He was responsible for product design and development at Poulan/Weedeater for over 30 years. During that time, the company grew from “not on the map” to the largest manufacturer of two-stroke cycle engines and related products in the world. Lloyd holds over 40 patents relating to these products. He was a member of the board of directors for Poulan/Weedeater, a Swedish engine research group (HERCO) and the industry group (PPEMA). Lloyd began his retirement in July 2000.
