Upon graduating from UMR magna cum laude, Breck joined Burns & McDonnell in 1990 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the firm including assistant mechanical engineer, lead mechanical engineer, project engineer, project manager, Principal, and Officer.  He is currently the General Manager of Burns & McDonnell’s St. Louis Regional Office.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri and Indiana.

Breck is an active member of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (President Elect for 2014-15), the Engineers’ Club of St. Louis, Circle Club of St. Louis, and has served as an Area Director for the Miner Alumni Association.  He is also involved in the community through the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Ronald McDonald House, Junior Achievement, Make-A-Wish, and First Free Church. 

Breck and his wife Ruth Ann are natives of the St. Louis area and reside in Chesterfield, MO.  Ruth Ann received a BS in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou).  They are raising three children:  Landon is a junior in the Accountancy program at Mizzou; Taylor is a freshman at Mizzou studying Education; and Blake is a freshman at Marquette High School.
