After serving nearly fourteen years as vice president of Groth Corporation in Houston, Texas, Bill moved to Tulsa, Okla., in 1980. There he founded OSECO, Inc., a manufacturer of over-pressure relief devices. In 1988 three additional companies he founded were consolidated into OSECO Valve and Service, Inc. In 1991 the company became known as Total Valve Systems, Inc., and shortly thereafter, Total Valve Systems of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama were founded. Today, Bill serves as president and CEO of three different successful companies, all of which he founded.

Bill retired in 2009. He and his wife, Celia, have started a new business selling plants, vegetables, and products to farmer's markets.
