He started at American Can Co. in St. Louis and then moved to Schlitz Container Corp. in Tampa and Milwaukee, assuming the positions of plant engineering manager and then production manager at the Milwaukee Can Plant. Timothy joined Anheuser-Busch in 1980, as director of engineering of their wholly owned container manufacturing company, Metal Container Corp. In 1990 he formed his own company. He purchased Hutchison Foundry Products—a 55-year-old manufacturer of precision aluminum die cast parts for the electric motor industry. After having grown the sales and profitability, he sold the company in 1997 to a mid-sized holding company headquartered in Cleveland and retired as president in November, 2000. Tim currently keeps busy as Chairman of the Saint Louis Private Fund. This Fund invests in growing small and medium size companies located in the St. Louis region.
