Steve began his career in the engineering department of Corn Products Corporation, Kansas City, Mo., but soon enlisted in the U.S. Army where he spent three years. After the Army, Steve joined Anheuser-Busch, Inc., Corporate Engineering department in 1968. Steve's 35 plus-year career with Anheuser-Busch includes numerous project engineering and management assignments in Corporate Engineering, Plant Operations and International. Steve retired from Anheuser-Busch in December 2003.

Steve currently serves on the Missouri S&T AMAE Board of Directors. Steve has been a member of ASME since 1964 (Life Member), and has served on the ASME Ohio Section executive committee. Other memberships include NSPE, MoPE, NACE and Sons of the American Revolution. Steve is a Shriner, limited leader in the Boy Scouts of America having served on many troop council and national activities, and holds licenses in real estate and securities.
