Ron's years in product and development engineering for the Ford Motor Company led to his co-founding Engine & Control Systems, now a subsidiary of Roush Industries. Providing engineering, technological, and manufacturing services, it is a leading supplier for the automotive industry.  Ron served UMR as a Chancellor's Leadership Class speaker. In his community, he served as a trustee for the Board of Education and as a trustee for the Board of the United Methodist Retirement Communities.  He was designated a life trustee of the Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.
