Ron’s career in the automotive engineering field began upon graduation in 1970, when he went to work as a test engineer at Ford Motor Company. He later became supervisor, Powertrain and Chassis, for Crown Victoria, Mustang, and Thunderbird carlines, among others. Ron moved to Borg Warner to become Vice President, Marketing and Advanced Engineering, and later Vice President, Sales and Engineering-4WD systems. Ron moved to American Axle in late 1999 and currently is Managing Director, eAAM Driveline Systems AB. American Axle produces axles, driveline systems and chassis for the global automotive and truck industry. He is a member of SAE. He retired from AAM in July 2009 only to find a new challenge in re-joining AAM in 2010 to lead the formation of a new company - eAAM Driveline Systems AB in Trollhättan, Sweden focused exclusively on automotive hybrid and electric drive technology for global automotive OEM's.
