Along with being chairman of Rollie Johnson, Inc., Rollie was also CEO and cofounder of the Systems Enhancement Corporation CEO founder of Electronic Support Products, all companies he founded in the St. Louis area. Rollie used his ME background to excel as a manufacturing representative of commercial and industrial heating air conditioning, then developed a company with his sons to provide software for uninterruptible power supply for computers. In addition, they formed a company to distribute related hardware. Rollie was a board member of the First national Bank of St. Louis. Upon graduating from high school, Rollie's four sons chose to make UMR a family tradition, with each of them graduating from UMR.
