Randy is a Principal Manager in the Boeing Research & Technology Organization. Randy rejoined Boeing Research & Technology in May 2008 after an assignment in Leadership Development. In this role, Randy is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and delivery of various production system and assembly technology efforts to enhance Boeing’s ability to design and assemble aircraft with the latest technologies available. Randy has worked various programs and projects across the Boeing Company since 1979 when he started his career as a cooperative education student in human factors engineering.
Randy has nearly 32 years of experience with Boeing with the vast majority of his experiences in composites and assembly related fields. Randy joined Boeing Research & Technology in January 1998 to begin working in the advanced manufacturing R&D environment. Randy also spent 16 years in the production operations division supporting Composite Center related activities and leading various engineering support teams.
Randy’s has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering (1981) and a Masters of Science in Engineering Management (1988) from the University of Missouri, Rolla, Mo. Randy was inducted into the Academy for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering by University of Missouri-Rolla in October 2006.
