Krish’s interest in automotive safety began early, but not for the reasons you might expect. While in college in Bombay, Krish was involved in an automobile accident caused by a drunk driver. The accident sparked an interest in automotive safety and more specifically, an interest in the structural integrity of automobiles.
Krish came to Detroit to work at Ford Motor Company in June, 1973. He was involved at the inception of Computer-Aided Engineering of the then-new Ford Escort. The experience at Ford prompted Krish to start his own company, EASi Engineering in January 1981. Headquartered in Madison Heights, Mich., and with engineering centers in Pennsylvania and India, EASi serves clients in the US, Europe, India and China. EASi has expanded from just two employees in 1981, to a current staff of 500 worldwide. EASi offers high value, low cost product engineering solutions to Fortune 50 companies and their supply base.
