About James M. Higbee

Jim began a new venture in 1996, as founder of Texas Auto Racing Resources, where Team Texas High Performance Driving School is housed at the new Texas Motor Speedway, on the NASCAR racing circuit. His early days were spent as a factory mutual engineer with Allendale Insurance Company, and later as vice president of sales in Chicago, which set the course for his 15 years of service as president of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.-Dallas, the eighth largest insurance brokerage firm in the U.S. Jim has served as a member of the OGS Executive Committee at UMR.
