After working four years at the Olin Corporation, East Alton, Illinois, as a tool, die and machine designer, Jim moved to the Anheuser Busch Companies, Corporate Engineering Department.

Jim held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Engineering Group of Anheuser Busch Companies including managing the Process Engineering Group of Corporate Engineering which performs the scoping, design and start up of the capital projects of the Anheuser Busch Beer Companies (brewing and packaging operations), Metal Container Corporation, Busch Agricultural and Anheuser Busch International.Jim led the technical portion of teams responsible for the various Anheuser Busch International acquisitions and partnerships.

Prior to retirement, Jim held various positions in professional societies including a seat on the ASME National Industry Advisory Board.Jim retired after 31 years with Anheuser Busch.
