With 39 years experience in the aircraft modification business, Gary’s career has been associated with major commercial and military aircraft conversion programs for customers around the globe. He started as an entry level UMR Mechanical Engineer at Texas Instruments in 1969 and has progressed to his current position of Engineering Fellow at L-3 Communications/ Integrated Systems. His career has afforded the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the design of special purpose aircraft for U.S. forces and one-of-a-kind aircraft for Head-of-State
clients. He is a certified Six Sigma Expert and is currently involved in an L-3’s conversion of a fleet of 16 Navy aircraft.
Gary‘s hobby is scuba diving with many trips to Carribean blue water. His wife, Beth, attended Oklahoma Baptist University, and she operates Cameo Creations, a custom gown company. They have one son, Andrew, and a daughter-in-law, Shelly. Both are graduates of Baylor University. Andrew is employed at Baylor in IT Services, and Shelly earned her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Baylor University and is employed with Waco Independent School District as a speech pathologist.
