Eric M. Kozak is vice president gas operations for Ameren Illinois. Kozak is responsible for the engineering and operations of over 18,200 miles of transmission and distribution gas lines and 12 underground natural gas storage fields.
Eric has a diverse background in utility operations. He started his career as a gas planner in Decatur Illinois in 1990. Since that time he has worked out of eight different offices from Jacksonville to East St. Louis. He held various leadership positions in several areas including fleet services electric operations, and vegetation management.
Eric serves on the Board of Directors for the MEA Energy association and the Operations Technology Development committee. He volunteers his time for a variety of organizations in Southern Illinois including being a ready reader.
In addition to spending time with his wife Sally and daughter Caroline (also an S&T graduate), Eric enjoys golf and being a certified driving instructor for the Porsche Club of America.
