Upon graduating in 1989, Chuck started his career with General Motors as a Design and Test Engineer concentrating on electrifying vehicle chassis systems. In 1993 he moved to Emerson, holding roles of increasing responsibility including Senior Development Engineer, Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer at the Motor Technology Center.
Emerson's Automotive & Precision Motor Division offered the opportunity to continue engineering design and utilize his MBA as Automotive Program Manager. This led to an opportunity in Nove Mesto, Slovakia as Director of Business Development in a startup joint venture. Upon returning to The States, Chuck continued his long-term management focus as Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning.
In 2008, Chuck moved back to engineering as Vice President of Engineering and Technology Development and continued his global focus coordinating engineering in India and developing a presence in Xian China. VP of Information Technology was added to his portfolio which led to his current role as VP of Information Technology and Supply Chain for Emerson Hermetic Motors. Currently, Chuck is Vice President & General Manager for Emerson Hermetic Motor - Asia, living in Suzhou, China.
Chuck has received 9 U.S. Patents, is on the Missouri S&T Corporate Development Council and is a 20 year member of Society of Automotive Engineers.
